Scholarships from PeopleCert for Students from Istanbul, Imvros and Tenedos for Postgraduate and Doctoral Studies

PeopleCert is pleased to announce the 3rd Cycle of the Scholarship Programme "Honouring Our Teachers from Constantinople", established in memory of distinguished educators from the Greek diaspora:

1. “Stathis Arseniadis” Scholarship
2. “Charalambos Christoforidis” Scholarship
3. “Isidoros Papinis” Scholarship

This initiative is implemented with the support of the Ecumenical Federation of Constantinopolitans and aims to provide tangible support to the Greek community of Istanbul, Imvros and Tenedos by offering outstanding students the opportunity to pursue postgraduate studies anywhere in the world.

Scholarship Details

The scholarships are annual, valued up to €8,000 each, and cover the current academic year 2024-2025 or the following one, provided that applicants have been accepted into a study programme.

Eligibility Criteria

• Eligible candidates are postgraduate students or doctoral candidates of up to second-generation descent from Istanbul, Imvros, and Tenedos, regardless of their place of study or residence.
• Applications must be accompanied by all necessary documentation as listed in the application form, submitted within the specified deadline.
• All documents must be received before candidates are invited for an interview, and no later than 25 March 2025.
• Candidates must have completed their undergraduate studies and be enrolled in postgraduate or doctoral studies or have been accepted into an equivalent programme.
• Applications from candidates who have already completed their postgraduate or doctoral studies will be automatically disqualified.
