Keep your certifications current

Stay informed about the latest industry developments, enhance your skills and boost your career potential by keeping your certifications current.

At PeopleCert, we are committed to supporting professional growth and improving our learners’ career prospects over time. It is therefore vital that certificate holders keep their skills up to date and regularly validate their knowledge to stay ahead of the curve.

Consequently, all individuals who hold one or more certifications will need to renew them within three years from their original certification dates, to keep them current.

Which certification(s) require renewal?

All PeopleCert Business and IT certifications must be renewed within three years of their original certification date.

These include:

How do product suites work?

We value the effort that our learners put into getting certified. As many of them hold multiple PeopleCert certifications, we’ve simplified the renewal process by bundling our certifications into Product Suites.

  • If you hold an ITIL 4 Foundation certification, and you acquire an ITIL 4 Practitioner or ITIL 4 Specialist certification, all your certification(s) belonging to the ITIL 4 Product Suite will be renewed.
  • Similarly, if you hold a PRINCE2 Practitioner certification and you acquire an MSP Foundation, all your certification(s) belonging to the PRINCE2 Project, Programme & Portfolio Management Suite will be renewed.

The Product Suites contain:

ITIL 4: All ITIL 4 Certifications
Project, Programme & Portfolio Management: PRINCE2, PRINCE2 Agile, MSP, M_o_R, MoV, MoP, P3O Certifications
Resilia: All RESILIA Certifications
Agile: All AgileSHIFT Certifications

Check your status

If you obtained your certification(s) before 31 July 2021, the time has come to renew them.

If you obtained your certification(s) after 31 July 2021, check your status and plan to renew them in time.

Candidates who do not renew their certifications will still be included on the Successful Candidates Register (SCR) and the Candidate Verification Service, but a note will be added to their record indicating that their certifications are outdated and in need of renewal.
